Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Steward to support our kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, washing dishes and kitchen equipment, and ensuring hygiene standards are consistently followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and clean dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and stewarding areas.
  • Dispose of waste and ensure garbage areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies when required.
  • Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and operational tasks.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
  • Assist during busy kitchen operations as needed.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen cleaning is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when required.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support the kitchen team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
